Legacy DSL is being phased out for new customers; where fiber isn\u2019t available, Verizon extends coverage via 5G Home Internet (and LTE Home where 5G isn\u2019t offered). On the service experience side, independent benchmarks such as the J.D. The bottom line: Verizon delivers symmetrical fiber speeds up to ~2 Gbps on Fios and straightforward two-tier 5G Home pricing ($50\/$70 with Auto Pay), plus Mobile + Home discounts for eligible wireless subscribers and multi-year price locks noted on the plan cards (Mobile + Home Discount FAQs<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fios availability remains concentrated in nine states plus Washington, D.C., but Verizon\u2019s overall home internet reach is now national via 5G\/LTE Home.
